Code of Conduct

The Player
  1. Respect all coaches, referees/umpires, parents and league officials.
  2. Be courteous and supportive to all teammates.
  3. Respect your opponents and exhibit sportsmanship at all times.
  4. Do not use profanity at any time.

The Parent
  1. Remember that children participate to have fun and that the game is for youth, not adults.
  2. Teach your child to play by the rules and to resolve conflicts without resorting to hostility or violence.
  3. Respect the coaches and referees/umpires authority during games and, if an issue arises, never confront a coach at the game or practice field.  Wherever possible observe a 24 hour cool-down period and then set up a meeting

The Coach
  1. Treat players, referees/umpires and parents with respect.
  2. Support principles of fair play and sportsmanship.
  3. Help develop every player’s confidence and self-image.

Please note that failure to follow these guidelines may result in a disciplinary meeting with the Brookside Executive.
